Infrastructure for Medical Judgment

Helping medical judgment remember.

Causis turns thousands of pages of medical records into structured, sourced, defensible medical-legal opinions, and, for the first time, keeps what every opinion teaches.

We are building the infrastructure this field has never had.

The Problem

Thousands of pages. Manual chronology. Isolated opinions. No institutional memory.
Courts depend on it. Insurers depend on it. Families depend on it. The system they trust forgets everything.

The field gets busier.
It rarely gets smarter.

The Infrastructure

One infrastructure.
Three layers.

Three layers of one platform, built in sequence. The Physician Workspace is the foundation; the Firm Workspace and the Medical Intelligence Network are built on top of it.

Built end to end around a single principle

Never assert a clinical fact that is not in the evidence.

In a signed medical-legal document, a fabricated statement is the most serious failure possible. Every component of the platform is designed to enforce this discipline.

The Causation Engine

From 5,806 pages to a report worth signing.

The Causation Engine converts fragmented medical records into structured, evidence-grounded reasoning. The platform organizes the record and grounds every statement; the physician reviews, refines, and signs the opinion.

01

Reads the whole case.

Thousands of pages in a single intake: record indexes honored, messy uploads recovered, nothing dropped silently. Cases beyond 5,000 pages are routine.

02

Builds the chronology.

Every event dated, flagged against the injury, and traced to its exact source page. A working draft the physician owns, never a black box.

03

A workspace built for the review.

Records, viewer, and a grounded assistant on one screen. Highlight any finding and it becomes an evidence card in the case binder.

04

Answers only from the evidence.

Every answer is cited to the record, or the system states plainly that the information is not in the record. It does not speculate.

05

Captures the examination.

First-party findings, typed directly or extracted from uploaded exam notes. If no examination was performed, the report says so. The Engine cannot invent one.

06

Drafts in the physician's voice.

Learned once from an exemplar report, then every draft built to that structure and register. Edit freely, redraft any section with an instruction, and compare versions side-by-side before accepting. The system never overwrites your work without review.

07

The gate.

Export is blocked until every section is reviewed, every uncertainty resolved, and compliance passes. A non-compliant report cannot leave by accident.

The Network

One network.
Two doors.

Physicians provide the clinical judgment; firms bring the matters. Causis connects the two, with every opinion grounded, cited, and reviewed before delivery.

For Physicians

Do more of the work only you can do.

Receive matters matched to your specialty and jurisdiction from firms in the network.
Hours returned to judgment, not assembly: the Engine reads, structures, and drafts; you review, refine, and sign.
Reports follow your template and your voice, and the final opinion remains yours. Currently in beta with founding specialists.

We onboard a limited number of specialists each month.

For Firms

The right opinion, on time, built to withstand scrutiny.

The right examiner, matched to the matter in minutes rather than weeks.
Opinions grounded and cited to the source page, with a compliance gate between the draft and the deliverable.
Every matter tracked to delivery: assignment, records, exam, draft, report.

"The chronology alone changed how I work a case. Weeks of reading became a day of review, and every entry shows me exactly where it came from."

Trust & Security

A network of judgment. A wall between every case.

Every matter is isolated at the architecture level: per physician, per case. Records never move between matters. What accumulates across the network is methodological knowledge, never patient records, never case content.

These protections are enforced by the system architecture, not by policy alone.
